The Camden Market is the fourth-most popular visitor attraction in London, attracting approximately 100,000 people each weekend.

However, the Camden Markets trip ended quite bad; with lots of new stuff in my new bag, a new hat and a brand new pair of sneakers, I managed to drop my baby on the ground. A £3000 camera, smashed into the turmac. A terrifying moment. I can still visualize it happening in slow motion; falling, hitting the ground, bounce once and knock out the battery and memory card cover. A photographer’s nightmare. And of course, this was the day before a shoot for my final project, which I had arranged with two local freerunners. I felt like I was going to die.

The only visible damage was a few scratches and a crack across the UV protection filter on the lens. It could still take pictures, so I went through with the shoot, and kept on taking pictures the rest of the holiday. But the focus might have gone wrong, and I’m going to take a closer look at that tomorrow. This couldn’t have happened at any time less convenient.
